4th FIDE World Chess Championship for People with Disabilities starts today with the first round of play

                               Today marks the start of playing at the 4th FIDE World Chess Championship for People with Disabilities with the first round starting at 12:00 UTC.

The pairings can be found on Chess Results. The playing platform Tornelo allows access to the action as well.

We are only 2 days away from the start of the 4th FIDE World Chess Championship for People with Disabilities

Banner 2021With the start of the tournament only 2 days away we are delighted to share the final list of participants for the tournament. It is so great to see almost 250 players from 45 countries take part in this World Championship! There are some familiar names on the list but we are also so happy to have some players that have the chance to finally play thanks to the tournament being player online.

The tournament will start with the technical meeting and a test round this Thursday, 4th November. Once this has been completed you can follow the pairings and results on Chess Results.

                               With only a few more days left to register here is the updated participant list as of the morning of the 29th October 2021 -  almost 150 players from 36 countries have signed up!

We are looking forward to starting the tournament on the 4th November and the startlist can be found here on Chess-Results.

Some of the registrations that were received did not have all the required details on them. This meant that not all of them were able to be processed fully. We are delighted to publish the list of participants as of the 25th October 2021. Currently we have around 100 registrations from 31 countries! If you have registered and are unable to find your name on the list below please check your emails as we are missing details from you to confirm and fully process your registration. Make sure you provide us with those details as soon as possible so we can add you to the official list without further delay.
